WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT / MATERIAL HANDLER

POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Warehouse Assistant / Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in daily warehouse operations and directly contribute to maintaining smooth distribution flow. This role requires attention to detail, discipline, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven operational environment.
You will collaborate closely with the operations team, supervisors, and relevant departments to ensure all receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch activities are carried out in accordance with company standards.
JOB DETAILS
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: East Region of Singapore (Changi and surrounding areas)
Work Schedule Options:
5 Working Days (Office Hours) – Day Shift or Night Shift
5.5 Working Days – Night Shift
Shift allocation will be determined based on operational requirements and team structure.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Basic Salary: $2,300 – $2,700 per month (based on experience and candidate suitability)
Overtime pay in accordance with Singapore employment regulations
Completion bonus of up to $1,000 (subject to performance and commitment)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Receiving and Dispatch Operations
Receive incoming goods and verify them against delivery documents.
Ensure quantities and product conditions meet required standards.
Perform picking and packing according to system instructions and work orders.
Prepare goods accurately and on time for dispatch.
Ensure dispatch processes meet scheduled timelines.
Storage and Inventory Management
Store goods in designated warehouse locations according to system allocation.
Optimize storage space utilization.
Maintain warehouse organization and safety standards.
Inventory Control and Accuracy
Conduct regular cycle counts.
Support monthly and annual stock take exercises.
Identify discrepancies and report them to supervisors.
Ensure alignment between physical inventory and system records.
Quality Inspection and SOP Compliance
Perform quality checks before shipment.
Ensure goods are in good condition and meet quality standards.
Comply strictly with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Adhere to workplace safety regulations at all times.
Daily Operational Support
Assist in loading and unloading goods from trucks.
Handle materials weighing up to 25kg using proper techniques.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily and monthly targets.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 1 year of warehouse or logistics experience.
Basic understanding of warehouse processes (receiving, picking, packing, dispatch).
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Physically able to lift and move items up to 25kg.
Detail-oriented, responsible, and committed to work.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Willing to work shifts according to operational needs.
Willing to commit for a minimum of 1 year.
