ABOUT THE JOB

We are currently hiring Freelance Warehouse Assistants to work at the Changi Air Cargo Centre. This position is open to individuals seeking part-time work with daily payment and fixed evening shifts.

This role is suitable for energetic, disciplined individuals who are able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic operational environment. The workplace is located within an active air cargo facility with daily inbound and outbound shipments.

JOB TYPE

Status: Part-Time / Contract

Scheme: Contract for Service (Freelancer)

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

There is an opportunity for ongoing assignments for candidates who demonstrate good performance, discipline, and teamwork.

SALARY AND WORKING HOURS

Hourly Rate: $13.50 per hour

Available Shifts:

5:30 PM – 10:00 PM

Total daily pay: $60.75

5:30 PM – 11:00 PM

Total daily pay: $74.25

Payment is calculated based on the total hours worked according to the selected shift.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Warehouse Assistant, your duties and responsibilities include:

Loading and unloading goods from trucks, pallets, or containers.

Sorting parcels according to category, destination, or system instructions.

Scanning items using provided warehouse devices.

Handling goods carefully to prevent damage.

Organizing and arranging items in designated storage areas according to operational procedures.

Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the work area.

Complying with workplace safety standards and security procedures within the air cargo facility.

This is a physically active role that requires good stamina, as it involves standing, walking, lifting, and moving items.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

No criminal record.

Physically fit and able to perform light to moderate lifting tasks.

Punctual, responsible, and disciplined.

Able to work independently as well as in a team.

Willing to work according to the assigned schedule.

Safety shoes are mandatory during work.

Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or cargo operations will be an advantage but is not required.
