We are currently seeking responsible, committed, and hardworking individuals to join our childcare centre operations across Singapore. Due to expansion and ongoing staffing needs, we have immediate openings for Cleaners and Cooks in multiple locations islandwide.

ABOUT THE WORK ENVIRONMENT

Our childcare centres provide early childhood education and care for young children. Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment is essential to ensure the health and safety of both children and staff. Likewise, proper food preparation and kitchen hygiene are critical in supporting children’s nutritional needs.

As part of our operations team, you will contribute directly to creating a safe and nurturing space for children to learn and grow.

We understand the importance of convenience and transportation. Our team will make every reasonable effort to assign you to a centre near your residential area whenever possible.

Floater positions are also available for candidates who are open to supporting multiple centres when required.

WORKING SCHEDULE

5-day work week

Monday to Friday only

No weekend shifts required

Public holidays according to centre policy

6-hour shift option available

8.5-hour shift option available

SALARY AND BENEFITS

Monthly salary ranging from $1,490 to $2,200

Earn up to $2,200 per month depending on working hours and role

Sign-on bonus of up to $800 (subject to company terms and conditions)

POSITION DETAILS

POSITION 1: CLEANER

Role Overview:

The Cleaner plays a vital role in maintaining the hygiene and cleanliness of the childcare centre. A clean environment reduces the spread of illness and ensures children can learn and play safely.

Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning classrooms and activity areas daily

Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors

Cleaning and disinfecting toilets and wash areas

Washing and sanitising toys, learning materials, and equipment

Emptying rubbish bins and ensuring proper waste disposal

Cleaning common areas including corridors and entrances

Wiping and disinfecting tables, chairs, shelves, and high-touch surfaces

Refilling soap dispensers, tissue, and hygiene supplies

Following established hygiene and safety guidelines

The role requires attention to detail, consistency, and a strong sense of responsibility.

POSITION 2: COOK

Role Overview:

The Cook supports the preparation of nutritious meals for children in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards. This role ensures that children receive safe and balanced meals daily.

Key Responsibilities:

Washing and cutting vegetables and ingredients

Assisting in meal preparation and cooking

Ensuring meals are prepared according to hygiene standards

Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen and food preparation areas

Washing and sanitising cooking utensils and equipment

Proper storage of food supplies

Monitoring food safety practices

Assisting with distribution of meals to children

Supporting the kitchen team as needed

The role requires basic food handling skills, cleanliness, and willingness to follow instructions carefully.

REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

Physically fit and able to perform cleaning or kitchen duties

Responsible and punctual

Reliable and able to follow instructions

Comfortable working in a childcare environment

Willing to learn and adapt

Positive working attitude

No prior experience required

Training will be provided for all new hires. Candidates without previous cleaning or cooking experience are welcome to apply.
