POSITION: WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT (DAY & NIGHT SHIFT)

GENERAL JOB INFORMATION

Position: Warehouse Assistant

Job Type: Part-Time

Working Days: 5 days per week (excluding weekends)

Minimum Commitment: 1 month

Contract Extension: Up to 12 months based on performance evaluation and operational needs

The work system is designed to provide schedule stability and clear responsibilities. Employees will be assigned to an operational team working under standard company procedures.

SALARY STRUCTURE AND COMPENSATION

Basic Pay: $14 per hour

Overtime Pay: $21 per hour

Public Holiday Pay: $28 per hour

Salary is calculated based on actual working hours. Employees who are willing to take overtime when required may earn higher total income. All calculations are handled transparently in accordance with company regulations.

For example, by working 8 hours per day for 5 days a week, employees can expect stable weekly earnings. Additional overtime or public holiday work can significantly increase overall income.

WORKING HOURS AND SHIFT OPTIONS

Each working day consists of 8 effective working hours with an additional 1-hour unpaid break.

Day Shift

Flexible start time between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM. End time will be adjusted according to selected start time.

Night Shift

Flexible start time between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM. End time will be adjusted according to selected start time.

The 5-day work schedule provides consistency and allows employees to manage their personal time effectively. There is no requirement to work on weekends unless specifically communicated due to operational needs.

JOB SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play an essential role in ensuring smooth distribution processes and inventory management. Main responsibilities include:

Receiving and Sorting Goods

Checking incoming goods against delivery documents

Sorting products according to category or distribution destination

Placing items in designated storage locations

Packing and Shipment Preparation

Packing goods according to company standards

Ensuring shipping labels and documentation are accurate

Preparing items for distribution

Inventory and System Scanning

Scanning barcodes using provided devices

Ensuring stock data matches system records

Reporting discrepancies or inconsistencies

Administration and Data Entry

Entering basic data into Microsoft Excel

Updating daily stock reports

Supporting internal operational documentation

Quality Inspection and Control

Ensuring items are in good condition before storage or shipment

Identifying damages or discrepancies

Reporting findings to supervisors for follow-up action

Additional Operational Support

Assisting other departments based on manpower needs

Carrying out ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisors

Maintaining cleanliness and safety in the work area

Basic Maintenance and Upkeep

Conducting simple checks on work equipment

Handling minor repairs when required

Keeping the work area organized according to safety standards

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

No prior working experience required

Able to follow instructions and work procedures

Candidates with experience in warehousing, logistics, inventory management, or administration will have an added advantage but it is not mandatory.
