Job Description
As a Childcare Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the entire childcare facility. Since the facility is used daily by children, maintaining high standards of cleanliness is essential to ensure their health and safety.
You will work closely with the childcare staff to ensure that classrooms, common areas, and facilities remain clean, organized, and comfortable throughout the day.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Cleaning classrooms used for children’s learning activities.
Maintaining cleanliness in children’s activity and play areas.
Cleaning and organizing student care areas and activity rooms.
Wiping and cleaning tables, chairs, shelves, and classroom equipment.
Maintaining cleanliness of the dining area used by children.
Sweeping and mopping floors regularly throughout the facility.
Removing dust from surfaces, furniture, and equipment.
Cleaning and washing toilets and ensuring the wash areas remain hygienic.
Replacing trash bags and disposing of garbage at designated disposal points.
Ensuring trash bins remain clean and do not overflow.
Cleaning corridors, staircases, and other common areas.
Maintaining overall cleanliness of the childcare center during operating hours.
Cleaners are also expected to work independently while following the hygiene standards and procedures established by the management of the childcare center.
