Position Overview
We are currently recruiting eight Temporary Assembly Assistants to support operational and production activities at our Tuas facility. This position is offered on a 3-month contract basis and is suitable for individuals seeking short-term employment with stable weekday working hours.
This role focuses on simple assembly-related tasks in a structured and supervised working environment. No prior experience is required as comprehensive training will be provided to ensure all employees are properly guided and equipped to perform their duties safely and efficiently.
Candidates who are reliable, responsible, and able to follow instructions carefully are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidates will be responsible for supporting daily production and assembly operations, including but not limited to:
• Performing simple picking and packing of small components
• Carrying out basic assembly of parts according to instructions
• Conducting light deburring and finishing of components
• Handling small and lightweight items only (no heavy lifting required)
• Ensuring assembled items meet basic quality standards
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of workstations
• Following company safety procedures and operational guidelines
• Assisting supervisors with additional ad-hoc duties when required
All tasks will be clearly explained during training, and supervisors will provide guidance throughout the contract period.
Work Environment
The work environment is organized, structured, and team-oriented. Employees will work alongside other staff members in a production setting where safety and efficiency are prioritized. Clear procedures and instructions are provided to ensure consistent workflow and productivity.
The position involves repetitive manual tasks; therefore, candidates should be comfortable performing routine hands-on duties throughout the workday.
Candidate Requirements
• Able to commit fully to a 3-month contract period
• Comfortable performing hands-on and repetitive tasks
• Responsible, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendance
• Able to follow instructions carefully and work independently when required
• Physically fit to perform light manual duties
• No heavy lifting involved
• No prior experience required; training will be provided
• Candidates who are able to start work immediately will have an advantage
