This position is available on a full-time or contract basis with a four-day workweek system and twelve-hour shifts.

GENERAL POSITION INFORMATION

Position Title: Production Operator

Work Location: Tuas South, West Region, Singapore

Employment Type: Full-Time or Contract

Work Schedule: Four working days per week

Shift Duration: Twelve hours per shift

The four-day workweek system provides better work-life balance, as employees receive three rest days each week.

SALARY AND ALLOWANCES

Basic Salary

The basic salary is offered up to SGD 2,200 per month, depending on experience and company evaluation.

Fixed Monthly Allowances

Performance allowance: SGD 100 per month

Transport allowance: SGD 50 per month

Daily Shift Allowance

Day shift: SGD 10 per day

Night shift: SGD 13 per day

Overtime

Overtime payment will be provided after 44 working hours per week. Due to the twelve-hour shift system, there is significant potential for overtime earnings. Overtime compensation follows Singapore employment regulations.

Estimated Total Monthly Gross Income

With the combination of basic salary, fixed allowances, shift allowances, and overtime pay, the estimated monthly gross income may range from SGD 2,700 to SGD 3,200 or more, depending on the number of overtime hours and shift assignments.

Each shift lasts twelve hours, including break time according to company policy. Candidates must be willing to work assigned shifts, including night shifts if required.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Production Operator in the milk powder industry, employees will be directly involved in the production and packaging process of food products. The role requires attention to detail, discipline, and compliance with hygiene and safety standards.

Main responsibilities include:

Selecting and packing milk powder according to company standards.

Loading and unloading raw materials and finished products.

Performing basic quality checks to ensure product standards are met.

Maintaining cleanliness of the work area in compliance with food industry regulations.

Following instructions from supervisors.

Carrying out additional ad hoc duties as assigned when necessary.

The working environment is within a food manufacturing facility with strict hygiene requirements. Employees are required to wear personal protective equipment provided by the company.

Safety shoes

Hair net

Face mask

Protective eyewear

Employees are not required to purchase their own work equipment.

Training will also be provided to new employees to ensure understanding of work procedures, hygiene standards, and workplace safety requirements.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Applicants are expected to meet the following criteria:

Willing to work twelve-hour shifts.

Comfortable standing for long periods during working hours.

Willing to work in a food production environment with strict hygiene standards.

Disciplined, responsible, and able to work as part of a team.

Possession of a Food Hygiene Certificate is an advantage if available.

Prior experience in manufacturing or food production is beneficial but not mandatory, as training will be provided.
