POSITION: OFFICE KITCHEN STAFF

STATUS: FULL-TIME EMPLOYMENT (1 YEAR CONTRACT)

LOCATION: TERMINAL 1 / JEWEL – CHANGI AIRPORT, SINGAPORE

I. INTRODUCTION

In order to support the smooth operation of the office and ensure that the standards of cleanliness and comfort of internal facilities are consistently maintained, the company opens job opportunities for candidates who meet the qualifications to fill the position of Office Kitchen Staff.

This position is part of the operational support function which has a strategic role in maintaining the quality of the work environment. The office kitchen is a facility that is used every day by management and employees, so cleanliness, tidiness and good facility management are very important aspects.

The selected candidate will work in a professional corporate environment with clear standard operational procedures and a structured work system.

II. GENERAL JOB INFORMATION

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Number of Working Days: 5 days per week

Working Hours:

Option 1: 07.30 – 17.00

Option 2: 08.30 – 18.00

Monthly Salary: SGD 1,999 – 2,000

This position does not require working on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays, unless there are certain operational needs which will be informed in advance.

III. PURPOSE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION

The main objective of this position is to ensure that all office kitchen facilities are clean, hygienic, neatly arranged, and ready for use at any time. In addition, this position is also responsible for supporting internal company activities, including management meetings and other operational events.

In general, responsibilities include:maintaining overall kitchen cleanliness and sanitation.

Kitchen equipment inventory management.

Logistical support for internal company activities.

Facility maintenance and damage reporting.

IV. DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION

A. Daily Cleanliness and Sanitation

Clean all kitchen surfaces every day, including countertops, cabinets and storage areas.

Sweep and mop the kitchen floor to ensure the cleanliness and safety of the work area.

Clean the sink and make sure there are no food residue or blockages.

Emptying rubbish bins and ensuring proper waste management.

Keep the kitchen in a ready-to-use condition throughout working hours.

B. Equipment and Facilities Maintenance

Clean the microwave, refrigerator, water dispenser and other kitchen equipment regularly.

Carry out a thorough cleaning of the inside of the refrigerator every two weeks.

Wash, dry, and reorder cups, mugs, and cutlery neatly.

Refill consumables such as laundry soap, kitchen tissue and cleaning fluid.

Identify and report damage to facilities to the Workplace Team or related parties.

C. Inventory and Inventory Management

Conduct regular stock checks of all kitchen equipment.

Record the need for re-procurement and report it to superiors.

Arrange fruit and snacks in designated areas.

Clean and tidy serving areas at the end of the work day.

Sorting and distributing fruit to the kitchen and related divisions every Wednesday to Friday.

D. Support for Company Activities

Assist in food preparation and room arrangement for management meetings.

Clean and tidy up the room after the meeting is over.

Support the implementation of internal company events.

Assist with preparation and cleanup during crisis drills conducted during office hours.

Carry out additional duties as directed by superiors.

V. PERFORMANCE STANDARDSa

Employees who fill this position are expected to be able to:

Maintain consistent cleanliness standards every day.

Manage time well so that all tasks are completed according to schedule.

Demonstrate a professional attitude in interacting with employees and management.

VI. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Have a disciplined, honest and responsible work attitude.

Meticulous and has high attention to cleanliness details.

Able to work independently or in a team.

Have good physical condition to perform routine cleaning work.

Willing to work for a full one year contract period.

Willing to work in the Changi Airport area according to applicable access regulations.

Experience in office or facility cleaning is a plus, but not required.

Employees are required to comply with all company policies, including work safety regulations, hygiene policies, and standard operational procedures. Any violation of company rules may be subject to disciplinary action according to applicable policies.
