Hospital Administrator | West Region
Work Location: Jurong West, West Region
(Available at more than 21 polyclinic locations across the West Region)
Employment Type: Part-Time
Work Schedule: 5.5 days per week
Salary Range: $2,200 – $3,000 per month
(Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications)
Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated, responsible, and service-oriented individuals to join our healthcare team as a Hospital Administrator at polyclinics located in the West Region. This position plays a vital role in supporting daily clinic operations while enhancing the overall patient experience through professional, courteous, and efficient service.
This role goes beyond administrative duties. It involves patient education, guidance on digital health tools, and active support of nationally driven community healthcare initiatives. Successful candidates will directly contribute to empowering patients to take a more active role in managing their own health.
Role Summary
As a Hospital Administrator, you will serve as a key liaison between patients, healthcare professionals, and clinic systems. You are expected to manage administrative responsibilities efficiently while delivering patient-centric service at all times.
Working hours follow a roster-based system with staggered office hours in accordance with clinic operations. Placement will be across multiple polyclinic locations within the West Region.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Patient Education and Support
Educate and guide patients on the use of mobile health applications.
Assist patients in understanding and enrolling in national healthcare initiatives such as Healthier SG.
Encourage patient engagement in self-care and preventive health practices.
2. Community Health Programme Support
Provide operational support for community health programmes organised by the clinic or partner organisations.
Coordinate with vendors, partners, and logistics providers to ensure smooth programme execution.
Assist in programme preparation, implementation, and follow-up activities.
3. Daily Clinic Operations
Perform patient registration accurately and efficiently.
Schedule and manage patient appointments.
Assist with patient referrals to relevant healthcare facilities or specialists.
Handle payment processes and basic financial administration.
Serve as the first point of contact for patient enquiries and assistance.
Conduct basic health screenings in accordance with established protocols.
Make follow-up calls to patients when required.
4. General Administrative Support
Provide administrative assistance to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Manage documentation, patient records, and administrative reports in compliance with guidelines.
Support medical staff and clinic management with ad-hoc administrative tasks.
Qualifications and Requirements
Prior experience in customer service, public-facing roles, or frontline positions is an advantage.
Strong communication skills with a professional and courteous manner.
Detail-oriented, organised, and able to handle responsibilities independently.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Interest in healthcare services and community engagement.
