CATERING ASSISTANT
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday
9:30 AM to 3:30 PM (6 hours per day)
Salary Calculation:
$12 x 6 hours = starting from $72 per day
General Job Description:
The Catering Assistant is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of food service at the office buffet area. The role includes preparation of serving areas, monitoring food distribution, maintaining cleanliness, and submitting daily operational reports.
Detailed Responsibilities:
Receive food and beverage deliveries from vendors or suppliers.
Check the physical condition, quality, and quantity of delivered items.
Weigh food according to operational procedures.
Lift and move items weighing up to approximately 12 kilograms when required.
Arrange food neatly and systematically at the buffet area before serving time.
Ensure food presentation remains hygienic and orderly throughout service hours.
Monitor food collection and ensure each visitor scans their identification badge before taking food.
Conduct simple surveys to collect feedback regarding food quality and service.
Replenish food and beverages as supplies run low during service hours.
Take photos before and after restocking food or beverages.
Submit photo documentation via the designated application to the operational WhatsApp group as part of the daily report.
Clean dining tables, buffet tables, and all used surfaces.
Remove stains and ensure cleanliness is maintained at all times.
Sweep and clean floors around the dining area.
Collect used utensils and tableware.
Clean and neatly arrange tableware after washing.
Manage and dispose of waste according to hygiene procedures.
Conduct daily stock checks and report inventory requirements to the supervisor.
KITCHEN ASSISTANT
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday
7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (8.25 hours including break time)
Salary Calculation:
$12 x 8.25 hours = starting from $99 per day
General Job Description:
The Kitchen Assistant supports kitchen operations by ensuring food and beverage supplies are well-organized, sufficiently stocked, and maintained according to Singapore’s food hygiene and safety standards.
Detailed Responsibilities:
Assist in early preparation before daily operations begin.
Receive and inspect food and beverage supplies from vendors.
Ensure proper storage of food items in accordance with food safety standards.
Lift and arrange stock items weighing up to approximately 12 kilograms when required.
Refill beverages, coffee capsules, tea bags, sugar, and snacks regularly.
Ensure all stock items are organized systematically for easy monitoring and access.
Regularly check product expiry dates.
Update date labels or rotate stock according to proper procedures.
Maintain cleanliness of sinks, worktables, storage racks, and the entire kitchen area.
Clean kitchen equipment and utensils after use.
Manage kitchen waste disposal according to hygiene standards.
Conduct regular stock inventory checks.
Report shortages or replenishment needs to the supervisor.
Ensure all operational activities comply with food safety and hygiene regulations in Singapore.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Must possess a valid Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
Demonstrate discipline, responsibility, and professionalism.
Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and lift items up to approximately 12 kilograms.
Detail-oriented with strong attention to cleanliness.
Polite and able to interact professionally within an office environment.
UNIFORM AND GROOMING REQUIREMENTS
Employees are required to wear:
Plain black polo shirt
Black long pants
Black covered shoes without logos or designs
Appearance must be neat, clean, and professional at all times.
