Salary Range: $1,800 – $2,000 per month

Main Purpose of the Position

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure all guest rooms are clean, hygienic, well-organized, and prepared according to the hotel’s quality standards. The Housekeeping Attendant plays an important role in creating a comfortable environment for guests, helping to enhance their stay experience and maintain the hotel’s professional reputation.

The Housekeeping Attendant is also responsible for ensuring all room amenities are properly arranged, fully stocked, and in good working condition.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Cleaning and Preparing Guest Rooms

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for cleaning guest rooms thoroughly on a daily basis. This includes making beds, replacing bed sheets, pillowcases, and blankets, and ensuring all room areas are clean and tidy. Dusting furniture such as tables, chairs, cabinets, and other surfaces is also required.

2. Cleaning and Maintaining Bathrooms

The Housekeeping Attendant must ensure bathrooms are clean and hygienic at all times. This includes cleaning toilets, sinks, showers, mirrors, and bathroom floors. The attendant is also responsible for replacing used towels and replenishing bathroom amenities such as soap, shampoo, and tissue.

3. Replenishing and Arranging Room Amenities

The Housekeeping Attendant must ensure all guest amenities are fully stocked according to hotel standards. This includes replenishing drinking water, cleaning and arranging glasses, and ensuring all other room supplies are properly prepared.

4. Inspecting Room Condition

After cleaning, the Housekeeping Attendant must inspect the room to ensure it meets cleanliness and quality standards. Any damages or maintenance issues must be reported promptly to the supervisor or maintenance team.

5. Maintaining Professional and Clean Working Standards

The Housekeeping Attendant must follow hotel cleanliness standards and operational procedures at all times. Maintaining professionalism, responsibility, and good work ethics is essential.

6. Teamwork and Following Instructions

The Housekeeping Attendant will work as part of the housekeeping team and must be able to follow supervisor instructions and cooperate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
