The Driver cum Cleaning Crew position plays an important role in supporting the company’s daily operations, particularly in delivering work equipment, managing inventory, and providing direct support for cleaning tasks at various project locations across Singapore.

This role does not focus solely on driving but also requires active involvement in operational activities. Selected candidates are expected to have physical readiness, attention to detail, and the flexibility to adapt to project needs.

ROLE OVERVIEW

As part of the operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all cleaning equipment and supplies are delivered and available on time at job sites. In addition, you will assist the cleaning team in preparing and operating equipment according to company standards. This position combines logistics responsibilities with hands-on technical support in the field.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Driving and Operational Distribution

You will be responsible for driving the company vehicle safely and professionally to various project locations across Singapore. Duties include delivering cleaning machines, chemicals, work tools, and other operational supplies. You must ensure that all items arrive on time, in good condition, and according to the approved delivery list.

Route Planning and Travel Efficiency

You are expected to plan efficient travel routes to minimize travel time and fuel costs. Knowledge of Singapore’s traffic conditions and work areas will be an advantage. The ability to adapt to schedule changes and traffic situations is essential.

Loading and Unloading Process

Carry out loading and unloading activities safely and systematically. Ensure that items are arranged properly inside the vehicle to prevent damage during transportation. Accuracy in matching goods with delivery documents is crucial to avoid errors.

Inventory Management and Monitoring

You will monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies and equipment. Any shortages must be reported promptly to the supervisor. Inventory checks are conducted regularly to ensure smooth project operations.

Vehicle and Equipment Inspection

Before and after use, you are required to perform basic inspections of the vehicle, including engine condition, tires, brake systems, and cleanliness. You must also conduct basic checks on cleaning machines or equipment to ensure operational safety and usability.

Compliance with Safety Standards

You must comply with all workplace safety regulations and company policies. Handling cleaning chemicals must follow established procedures. The use of personal protective equipment on-site is mandatory to ensure the safety of yourself and your team.

Support for On-Site Cleaning Work

In addition to driving duties, you will assist the team in setting up cleaning equipment, operating machines when necessary, and supporting cleaning tasks as directed by the supervisor. Teamwork and effective communication are key to completing projects on schedule.

Administration and Documentation

You are responsible for maintaining accurate delivery records, including item quantities, destinations, delivery times, and reporting any discrepancies or damages. Proper documentation ensures operational transparency and efficiency.

Handling Unexpected Situations

Field operations may involve sudden schedule changes or technical issues. You are expected to remain calm, respond quickly, and coordinate with the supervisor to find appropriate solutions.
