Monthly Base Salary: $2,100 – $2,600

Position Background & Context

The aviation and air logistics industry demands very high operational standards, particularly in aspects of punctuality, safety, security, and compliance with international regulations. To support these operational needs, we are inviting dedicated and detail-oriented candidates to join us as a Cargo Coordinator at Changi Airport.

This position is a key role in air cargo operations, where the Cargo Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the entire cargo handling process is efficient, coordinated, and in accordance with aviation safety standards. This role is not only operational but also includes elements of leadership and cross-functional coordination. Job Objectives

As a Cargo Coordinator, your primary objectives are:

Ensure smooth daily cargo operations

Ensure cargo is processed according to flight schedules

Maintain compliance with safety, security, and aviation regulatory procedures

Serve as a primary liaison between the warehouse operations team, airlines, and third-party agents

Effectively lead and supervise a team of Cargo Handlers

Job Scope of Responsibilities

As a Cargo Coordinator, you will be responsible for a variety of critical functions, including but not limited to:

1. Cargo Operations Coordination

Organize and coordinate cargo handling activities in the warehouse area

Ensure Ensure loading and unloading processes run according to operational schedules

Manage daily workflows with the Cargo Handlers team

2. Team Supervision and Oversight

Lead, direct, and supervise the Cargo Handlers team

Ensure work discipline, productivity, and team compliance with SOPs

Be the first point of escalation for operational issues in the field

3. Procedure and Regulatory Compliance

Review cargo documents and system data in real time

Ensure all cargo activities comply with internal procedures and aviation regulations

Maintain safety and security standards across all operational areas

4. Coordination with Airlines and Third Parties

Handle inquiries and requests from airlines

Coordinate with third-party agents regarding cargo status and movement

Follow up on operational issues until resolved

5. Reporting and Administration

Prepare daily operational reports

Report non-conformities, incidents, and operational issues

Provide regular updates to superiors

Minimum Qualifications

At least NITEC certification, or

At least 1 year of work experience in warehouse, logistics, or cargo operations

Additional Qualifications Preferred

Supervisory experience or leading an operational team

Basic understanding of air cargo operations

Experience working in a shift environment with tight deadlines

Capacity & Work Readiness Requirements

Able to multitask in a fast-paced work environment

Clear and professional communication skills

Able to coordinate with various stakeholders

Willing to work 6 days per week

Willing to work in permanent shifts

Good physical condition and able to lift heavy loads

Willing to undergo forklift training and operate it
